surfaces is an album about coming home.

Between the surrealist dreams of a man on his way home and the arduous modes of transportation he pursues back, surfaces pieces together the stories we hold in search of identity. In his dreams, the protagonist faces arbitrary boundaries from a world of his own design. As he battles with his want to enter a watery abyss, his objective awake is much more simple, to come home. His dreams become more complex as his way back becomes more entangled with his fears. We come to find out the journey is the question, and the question is the answer.
